I have come to know that we do not choose the souls that forever change our lives. They choose us!

In offering their trust, they invite us into a relationship that transcends words, a bond of quiet understanding, unwavering respect, and shared spirit. Only when we are chosen are we given the profound privilege of becoming their guardians. I seek to honor that sacred connection, where animal and human walk beside one another as protectors, companions, and kindred souls.

Through intimate portraiture, I seek to reveal the individuality, emotion and presence of each animal beyond its physical form.

Earning trust via patience, respect and authenticity, I create images that honor the quiet dialogue between species. My work celebrates those rare moments when two souls recognize one another, reminding us that the deepest connections are never possessed, they are gifted.

I am a portrait photographer with a profound love for light and storytelling. As a proud mom of five incredible children, I find endless inspiration in the beauty and connections around me. My oldest daughter serves as my trusted lighting assistant, and together, we create timeless, magical memories—each frame woven with deep emotion, preserving not just a moment but a story that resonates through generations.

Specializing in captivating portraits of people with their animals, I transform unique bonds into heirloom quality art—each piece a story illuminated by light, love, and the kind of connection that takes your breath away long after the moment has passed! Countless details and time go into every session to make each sacred journey come to life!

As a commissioned photographer, I take on a limited number of projects each year, thoughtfully selecting the ones that inspire me most.

We encourage printed heirlooms in this digital age as we lose touch with classically printed photographs. Digital files available as well. Custom quotes will be provided upon request.

Lighting Assistant

Today I have the privilege and honor of teaching my children how to express themselves through art, especially my oldest daughter who is my lighting assistant. She gets to see me in my element and I love watching her shine in hers! The honor and pride I feel to have her beside me through all of life fills me up with sunshine and pure excitement! Taia works hard for the best lighting angles and captures each animal's soul! Together our hearts shine through for you to see.

I hope you see our love of life and feel the song in our hearts as you experience our collection. This amazing, talented, artistic and brave young woman will be everything she sets out to be in life.
